A antiques is pleased to present Botanical Motifs and Everyday Objects at TOTODO in Shibuya.
Centering on the Edo period, the exhibition brings together blue-and-white and enameled ceramics painted with plants and flowers, baskets woven from bamboo and bark, and other objects made for daily use.
The motifs drawn in delicate lines, and the shadows cast by the woven strands, remain vivid even after the passage of time.
We hope you will enjoy the presence of plants dwelling within these everyday objects.
Also on view are baskets for arranging flowers, and small plates and sake cups to accompany the table.

All works in the exhibition are available for purchase. Purchases may also be made via Instagram DM. Please note that in-store sales will be given priority.

5 minutes on foot from the New South Gate of JR Shibuya Station.
From the New South Gate, turn right and then left, and proceed through Sakura Stage toward Hyatt House.
Take the escalator down at Hyatt House, directly connected to Sakura Stage.
