イギリスのグラフィックデザイナー ヴォーン・オリバー(1957-2019)の展覧会カタログ。イギリスのインディーズ・レコードレーベル「4AD」のアルバム・アートワークを数多く手掛けたことで知られるデザイナー。本書は、1994年にロサンゼルスのパシフィックデザインセンターで開催された展覧会に際して刊行されたもの。1988-1994年に手掛けた、ラッシュやピクシーズらのレコードジャケット、大竹伸朗のアートディレクション、その他販促物や展覧会でのアートワークを年代ごとに収録。
